Here's a bit about Pete...

Peter Metsch is our other brilliant Sous-Chef. He's been with us for quite some time despite only starting in the kitchen in March 2011. His love for Mombo lead him to help us design the open kitchen and Chef's Bar. Of course, having worked beside Mary Dumont in this very kitchen gave him "ringer" status. Anyhow, we're lucky he finally decided to commit further and bring his culinary skills into the Mombo kitchen.

Pete's passion is charcuterie. He first started honing this talent when he under-studied with Barbara Lynch at The Butcher Shop in Boston, MA. His quest for knowledge has lead him to work with other James Beard Award winning chefs such as Lydia Shire and Susan Regis. Fortunately for Mombo, Pete has put down roots on the Seacoast and we are going to make sure he stays happy here.
